Matt is a Principal Research Consultant at Thetius. He has seagoing experience aboard a range of code vessels, merchant ships, and offshore platforms, involved in a variety of operations such as oil and gas well maintenance, search and rescue, and scientific research in the polar regions.
Since coming ashore, he has built a career as a commercial executive, marketer, and corporate market researcher. Matt brings a broad perspective, having practised in both the public and private sectors for UK government agencies, maritime start-ups, SMEs, and global blue chip enterprises.
He is a Chartered Marine Technologist, holds a degree in maritime operations and sustainability from Plymouth University and is a member of the Institute of Marine Engineering, Science, and Technology (IMarEST), and Market Research Society (MRS).
